SOFTCAMP signed a mutual cooperation agreement (MOU) with Korea PMO Social Cooperative for the secure cloud business. Representatives of both organizations attended the ceremony on the morning of the 16th at SOFTCAMP’s headquarters in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province.
The agreement aims to create a new market in the secure cloud business by making strategic use of both parties’ expertise and accumulated experience. SOFTCAMP’s specialized cybersecurity technology meets the know-how of the seasoned IT professionals of Korea PMO Social Cooperative, creating synergy in pursuit of shared gains in the secure cloud field.
Together with Korea PMO Social Cooperative, SOFTCAMP will expand the sales network for services such as SHIELD Gate, its secure remote access service, and SHIELDEX Remote Browser, its remote browser isolation service. Recognizing that SOFTCAMP’s security services — which make Zero Trust security possible in a work environment where the perimeter has disappeared — are a joint business for both parties, they will cooperate actively on a foundation of trust.
Korea PMO Social Cooperative was established in January 2018 to create employment for people who have retired from informatization work in public institutions and the private sector, and to draw on their long experience and accumulated expertise for the successful execution of informatization projects. PMO stands for Project Management Office. In informatization projects, a PMO refers to the methods used to lead a project to success and to the specialist project management organization that supports them.
SOFTCAMP CEO Bae Hwan-guk said, “Through this agreement we will pursue close mutual cooperation based on trust, and both parties will work together actively for our shared interests.”
Song Jae-young, chairman of Korea PMO Social Cooperative, said, “We will do our best to contribute to Zero Trust security at public institutions with SOFTCAMP’s innovative new products and to serve as a cornerstone in strengthening national security.”
